All In A Day's Work

I got some stuff done today. Wasn't necessarily the stuff I should have done, but at least I got something done.

Gave Malachi his first lesson on "How To Use A Saw Properly" and let him go at some branches that the wind blew down the night before.

Miserably failed at making Flubber for the kids to play with so I could finish......

this childrens apron to sell at a bazaar that my mom and I do every year and is only two weeks away! Yikes! This is the only thing I have done so far so school is taking a little break for the next two weeks.
What did you do today?

Let's see.......how many kids do I have, and what DIDN'T I do today! Ha HA ha! I made brownies.....I finished "It's My Turn" By Ruth Bell Graham.....I supervised many cleaning times....I cleaned the kitchen.....did a load of laundry, even though it's Russell's week.....mended a hole in Sis's skirt.....watched the kids do their schoolwork.....made a hot lunch today.....made dinner.....but vegged out most of the day reading!!! I didn't do much that was really constructive or meaningful....sigh......

Feeling utterly useless and lazy.........ugh!

Malachi looks thrilled! Well, you may be behind in your sewing, but you have done more of it with that apron than I have done in 15 years put together!

Much of my day yesterday was spent on the couch with a migraine. Blinds closed, sunglasses on, and telling people to whisper or to not click pens or to not drop things or touch bags or cough or breathe too loudly. I was a heap o'fun.

That apron is SO adorable! So what do you think the chances are that I could make that even though I've NEVER sewn? My mom is coming next weekend with her sewing machine and I have a craft fair I've made NOTHING for!

that apron is really pretty! I've been wanting to make one for my almost five year old, but um.. I'm not that talented! I love to sew, but I'm just not good at it! That is really pretty though! Hope that your sons sawing went well! I can remember learning to use a saw! Glad that you got stuff done!

That apron is very cute! Looking at it makes me think I should sew a couple for my girls for Christmas...
hmmm...on second thought what do you charge for yours? :)

I spent a small portion of my day coveting that cute apron. It's my birthday. (pout, pout) I think that means you should give me one for half price. :-)

Love the apron. That's what I DIDN'T do today :-o) Instead, I tried to continue teaching the parts of speech to my 8 year old....until I nearly lost it and had to let hubby take over! LOL! What's so hard about learning linking verbs anyway?!!
