I thought I would take a moment to tell you what the expression "something on a stick" means. From a time gone by, when candy was a special treat instead of a daily constant for children, the candies that were on a stick were more expensive and more treasured by little ones. Those were the special candies- the ones on a stick. So, when something is great, grand, wonderful and/or special it is -"something on a stick"!
