Oh, The Questions You Asked!

That was a fun list of questions you left for me. You know I'm all about "Full Disclosure" but there was one in there that even made me blush. You got me, EE! I'll answer a few each day this week so as not to bombard you with a big long post.

How long have you and Emily (nsremom) known each other and how did you meet?

We met 14 years ago at a pediatric office that we both worked at. She was just hired and I was supposed to train her. We just clicked right away and have been best friends since. If any of you have actually met her in real life, you know how easy it is to become friends with her. She’s just one of those people that puts you at ease right away and that EVERYBODY likes. We've been through marriage ups and downs, births, deaths, spiritual challenges, midnight phone calls for advice, surgeries, broken hearts, and lots of chocolate.

Have you always homeschoold your kids?

Yep! I'll get more into that in another post this week.

What was your high school grad theme song?

I didn’t even know we were supposed to have one. Wow!

What do you look for in a friend?

Independence (I’m really turned off by people who are clingy or needy in a whiney way versus someone who I can have a mutual supportive friendship with) spiritual depth and self deprecating humor.

What’s your favorite chocolate, how much do you eat in a day, do you ever find yourself reaching for just one more, and what is the max you’ve consumed in a day?

My favorite chocolate is Lindt Lindor Milk Chocolate Truffles…..

My daily dosage depends on what kind of day I’m having. A good day means that sometimes I don’t even need chocolate, but a bad day can mean, “Eat ‘Em Till There Are No More Left To Eat!” I have to admit that I’m not a chocolate snob. If I’m left in a pinch I’ll even eat semi-sweet chocolate chips or pick the fuzz off of a piece I’ve found at the bottom of my purse. It’s Medicinal People!
I'll tackle some more questions this week covering homeschooling, potty training, I'll be posting my daily schedule, (sorry if that's boring to some of you) and some shocking revelations!

Oh, I love Lindt truffles too, but I lean more towards the white or dark extremes.

I have never even heard of a Lindt truffle...can you believe that? You sure did get some interesting questions. Some are *heav-y* ,but you can handle em.
BTW, I don't think we had a graduation song either.

No high school theme song?
Then I shall selflessly loan you mine so that you won't have to go without:
"Wind Beneath My Wings"

It's o.k. Keep it as long as you like. I won't be needing it back anytime soon.

Looking forward to getting to know you more through this.
