I LOVE you! I swear, my house looked like all last week. It took me most Monday to get it looking "right". I'd say normal, but if it's messy long enough, it becomes your "new normal". Scary thought eh? ~Karlie
I am so glad I am not the only one who fights the battle of left behind shoes. Shoes are my enemy most of the day, and then when I finally go into my room, ready to relax, I trip over my older son's Crocs. Why they are in MY room I have no idea, but it happens a lot.
That was great- I love to know that other people deal with mess sometimes too. I am making the 2 older ones dung out their rooms as I write. So far, it has been a lot smoother than it usually goes.
YAY! Someone else whose house doesn't always look like a magazine! I swear people post pictures of rooms they've just cleaned just to make me feel slack!
This is awesome! I am going to copy this idea the next time my house is a mess - just cause it will make people feel normal! Currently it is fairly clean because we have had two events at our house the last two nights - but after the weekend we may be able to kick up some fuss. Here's the thing - I have a bit of OCD about the house. Yikes.
GAYLE, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOU!!!! Thanks for showing me that there are others out there that are too tired to pick up at night...my mom makes me feel like a freak!
A mid 30's woman trying to balance marriage, faith, homeschooling 4 kids, mountains of dirty laundry and a serious chocolate addiction. Ok, well maybe it's more like upper 30's but it's still the 30's, dangit!

That is the gorgeous-est messy kitchen I have ever seen!
Atta girl! *This* is reality!
I spy matching boots in two different rooms...felt like home. ;)
I always knew I liked you. Nice to know there are other real families out there. :-)

Thanks for showing us the not so perfect side. :)
