Rain Rain Go Away, Come Again Another Day

Man oh Man it's wet here! Our record snows have turned into massive flooding and people's houses are going under. We've managed to keep safe and dry but just a few minutes away people are being evacuated. The kids have been watching news helicopters fly over the house all day since we are just a couple miles from one of the rivers (as the crow flies). Please pray for the people in this part of the country. Lot's are losing their homes and facing costly repairs. There will be lots of yucky clean up work when all this is over.

we have been watching the news with amazement. i grew up in the puget sound and most of my family is stillover there. it looks like the midwest floods!

prayers being sent your way. and yes, the cleanup will be horrendous. stay dry and safe.

I saw an area called Chehalis (?) underwater and googled that to find out how far you and Emily were from it- not very far... We have the same type of flooding in an area further inland from us, but we are fine here. Sad and stressful for those who have lost their homes. Will keep praying for all. Thanking God that my Washington buds are OK.

Praying for all those in your area. My husband was stationed at the Air Force base in Tacoma. (Many years ago--when Mt. Saint Helen's blew!) It is a beautiful part of the United States.

Stay safe and stay dry.

Wow- I had no idea it was that bad. we aren't getting much rain here so I haven't been paying attention and I rarely watch the news. So sorry. Hope you keep safe and dry and same for poor Emily.

Gayle,
I'm so glad you guys are safe and dry. I was watching the news and thanking God I no longer lived on the Cowlitz river. Praying for you and my other friends out there. ~Karlie
