Why Write After That?

I thought about doing a post on my quirky behaviors (I carried my cold-from-the-fridge breakfast apple in my pocket to warm it up before I ate it this morning.)

I thought about posting on my quick trip to the dollar store to buy enough kid-stuff to buy me a few hours of freedom so I could finish canning all the darn apples.....

I thought about posting on my terrible book addiction and the fact that I'm hoping that I can just absorb their contents as I sleep by stacking them on my nightstand......

I also thought about yet another post on the gazillion apples I've been canning and baking (If I never see another apple as long as I live, well, fine be me.).....

But Chris (the big guy snoring in the middle) has posted something that made me giggle with delight, so I'm just gonna send you over there.

My nightstand looks so normal to me now...I have books under, over, around...I think I am hoping to absorb them too :)

LOVED your hubby's post. So sweet. I hope it makes you giggle with delight for years to come.

Gayle, I laughed out loud at your comment about the books. I felt sure there was no one else on earth who understood this behavior! I still believe I am a book-lover, despite that I only read about a page a day before losing myself between the lines with my eyes closed.

So great to read that and get a glimpse of Chris! He obviously adores you and really appreciates you for YOU! I hadn't read his 5 random thoughts post yet, either. HILARIOUS. Looks to me like you are a perfect match. :)

This post was SO clever, by the way. Loved it. Especially loved the giant pile of books. :)

I love your hubby's post. I sent my hubby there to see if he would...ahem...get inspired to blog about his wife. No luck so far. *sigh* I really enjoy your blog!
