But my VERY generous mother in law got us a new digital camera with all the bells and whistles for Christmas this year and it amazingly holds 522 pictures before the card is full.
Unfortunately I can’t seem to get out of the habit of being hesitant to take pictures. I really have to force myself to snap away and take chances with my camera.
A few days ago I went against all my instincts and decided to drag my camera along all day, whether at home or away, and just snap pictures of things I found value in.
And when I came home and viewed all my photos I found that they were all full of a man.
A man who loves McDonald’s ice cream cones and wrestles with his kids. A guy who can spend hours perfecting an e-mail to a friend but doesn’t hesitate to jump to my assistance when I come barging into his office in tears because the kids are driving me crazy. A guy who got me Chinese food and specifically shaped ice cubes at strange hours during four pregnancies. A guy who makes mistakes and is humble enough to confess.
And I’m just feeling a bit thankful for him today.

That is so sweet!
Excuse me while I go hug my Mr. Muscles.
I'm so glad you two have each other. :) But I wish he could share you with me maybe once a week. What's a short flight across the country??
My eyes teared up at that great post, because he is very important to us to, knowing him as a great friend, a long time soul friend.....
We wanted to appreciate him too, for all the "speaking into" he has done in our lives. He's so intuitive and so willing to challenge in such a great way.....
Thanks for showing love and gratitude for you man. It really inspires.
If I had a digital camera and knew how to download pics on my computer and get them onto my blog, I would totally do a post about Dave!!
