Help!

I'm just popping in real quick.

I'm speaking at a homeschool meeting tonight to new homeschoolers and I'd like to provide a list of free resources for all the newbies. So could you leave me a comment and links to your favorite online resources so that I can pass them on and not look like I'm a babbling fool?

Thanks guys!

From Aliisa:

Gayle,
I don't homeschool but we do keep up with all my daughter's subjects during the summer. I enjoy using the resources on our Elementary website. Perhaps some of them can help you out. Here is the link: http://ces.bcsd.k12.il.us/studentresources.htm

They also have great parent resources if you want to look at those. Here is the link:

LOL!! I just saw my typo. Yup, I'm sure if you can speak to royalty (a "crown") the way you blog, you'll do just fine. I MEANT to say "crowD", of course!!

I am probably too late with this- I use some of the ones already mentioned, but have gotten a lot off of http://abcteach.com/ lately- for free. Jan Brett also has loads of stuff on her website, for free:http://www.janbrett.com/. Hope all goes well!

amblesideonline is the best on-line resource I know of.

http://weblinkeducation.com/ is a website an HSB blogger friend of mine created with tons of links in different categories.

I have written a document listing several different philosophies with weblinks for each. I'll e-mail it to you.

I'll also be praying for you. I know speaking in front of a group is not your favorite thing.

Grace and Peace,
Angel

I am a newbie homeschooling mom, but I found:
www.education.com
Which has fabulous activities you can sort through by subject and grade! Lots of fun stuff there. And it's free!
