This was always my argument about bed making. I can see his point, but it makes us moms look bad if they don't brush at least once a week- just kidding. I am a little anal about the teeth brushing.
Just thought I'd mention that at the exact time I pulled this up to read that my husband is making sure my little fellow (7 yrs old) brushes his teeth good.
We used to have this problem. Then we bought those light up toothbrushes, ever since then the boys BEG me to brush their teeth! I have, literally, had to pry the toothbrush out of my 3 year old's hands.
Sure it makes sense. I've never been crazy about making up the bed for just that reason.
But try it out on HIM -- give him a dirty plate for his breakfast. Say "I didn't wash it last night after dinner since I figured that it would just get dirty again this morning."
A mid 30's woman trying to balance marriage, faith, homeschooling 4 kids, mountains of dirty laundry and a serious chocolate addiction. Ok, well maybe it's more like upper 30's but it's still the 30's, dangit!

They STILL have to brush them. :)
Hmmm...if I could get by with it, this would totally be my philosophy on cleaning my bathrooms.
