Visitation Day

You might have read about our adoption attempts earlier in the week. No...not the people kind, the DOG kind. We finally have a date. If no problems arise (ohplease ohplease ohplease)we'll have her on June 27th.

And with that good news we decided to go visit her yesterday.

We are very smitten.

She is a doll! I think they way overreacted to your thought of breeding her once as an educational idea. Good for you for still trying to get her.

I think she's cute, and I'm not a dog person....

Looking forward to seeing you guys with a new dog.

She's a cutie. We've been thinking of adopting a shelter dog.

She's beautiful!! We have tiny dogs but I love bigger dogs...they seem so cuddly. I'm glad they are still letting you guys get her, they did way overreact to your question, but I guess they do have to be overly cautious because there are a lot of bad people who do bad things to animals. Your kids are going to be so happy!

She is cute. Coal and her will have a great time. Lisa is now an ol' hand to all things doggie and can show you the ins and outs in the dog world. Oh and I can too.

Awww, what a cutie. Her face reminds me a lot of our old friend we lost recently.
I hope you guys really enjoy having her.

You'll definitely have more to post about once you have a dog! =)

Gayle,

It's been awhile since I last visited and, back then, there was no chance of a dog. I'm THRILLED you're expecting the new addition!

I'm in the planning phase of doggie-adoption for the forseeable future (there's just no room!) However, I've got the breed (Golden Retriever), the place (L.A. Golden Retriever Rescue), and the vision - they post pictures of their available dogs.

SO excited for you.

Did I say, "Congratulations?"
