Proof That I Need To Have Another Girl

My daughter is the only girl in the house…..except for me. This has been the point of many tearful pleas and discussions that revolve around my daughter begging for a sister. But she’s finally learned to be content with what she has and use her lemons to make lemonade. Or in this case, dress her brothers up as the sister she never had.

Do you think it is wrong to be slightly envious of hips that can fit into Build a Bear clothes?

I remember dressing my brother up in a navy cardigan as Susie, the new girl at school. He is 33 now and still gets mad if I bring it up.

Uhhhhh.....

Okay.

Well....

Russell once got his fingernails painted by our naturopath's daughter when he was about 2. No harm done and we still chuckle with our now good friends our naturopath and his wife about it!

What does Chris think of that photo??

Hmmm...

My daughter does that to her little brothers too. He looks very pleased with himself!

I used to do the same thing to my brother. My only advice is hide the barettes, I used to love to try to style his hair.

The up-side is that my brother is married to a wonderful woman who appreciates the sense of style I instilled in him at a young age.

Go hug that girl's neck for me! I always wanted to do this to my little brother when we were kids! I ended up spraying him with mace, roping him up in the barn, and locking him out of the house instead! LOL!

Ammunition against Gabe. Just threaten to show them to future dates...
I read an article about bribing w/ a toy he wants... someone else suggested it. Does Dr. Phil have any advice on that. I've always heard boys are a lot harder.

You have some serious blackmail material here for when he is ohh about 16.

My boys never seemed to have this trouble. They dress up but it usually has to do with guns and swords. No pink frilly things here.

I know! You and Emily should bring over Allegra and Sarah. Brett could be the model of the day. Then you and Emily and I could REALLY get to know each other. All the other boys could go play in the mud or something. How cool would that be.
