Halfmoon Girl over at Shore Stories tagged me for the middle name meme so here is how I would describe myself with my middle name.
Elaine means “Light” and I’d like to tell you that it refers to my weight but I think it applies more to my inability to get too serious. I’m just going to go with letter association and put down the first words that pop into my head.
E – Egregious…conspicuously bad or offensive…flagrant. I’m sure that must be due to all the poopy posts I do.
L – Loyal…faithful to any leader, party, or cause, or to any person or thing conceived as deserving fidelity: a loyal friend.
A – Astounding….bewildering or striking dumb with wonder. My husband tell me this all the time. Mostly the bewildering part!
I – Independent …not influenced or controlled by others in matters of opinion, conduct, etc.; thinking or acting for oneself: an independent thinker. This can be such a fault because I have to really work to submit…but I’m getting better.
N – Not a night owl. I’m a total morning person!
E – Elated….very happy or proud; jubilant; in high spirits.
And there you have it, my feeble attempt to play the name game.
