It was naptime for Gabe today and our usual routine is to grab a book, lay on his bed together and read before his nap. Today it was The Owl and The Firefly and as we were laying there my bra strap slipped out from under my tank top.
Gabe pointed to it and said, “Why you got dat, Mom?”
“It’s hooked to my bra,” I answered.
“Well, what’s dat for den?”
“It’s to hold up my breasts.” (Well…. isn’t it?)
“So, if you don’t have dat, will dey fall down?”
And after nursing four kids my answer was….
“Exactly, Gabe!” (Dang-it!)

I hear ya, girl. Jenna said to me a couple years ago, "Why are those tings so fwoppy?" and used fwoppy hand motions to illustrate. Beautiful memory.
This post may win the prize for my favorite title ever.
Cracking me up! Loved that.
Cindy is correct - the title ROCKS.
Tell me about it!!!!
I beat your for nursing by two, ugh, don't even think about it!!!!!!! The sagging is killin' me!!
I lay down and suddenly, I wonder where my "companions" have disappeared! I have a taste of what it's like to be flat chested!
Great post!

I read Gray Hare at first- a little overtired. I LOVE that kids keep us humble and laughing at the same time. I have shared some of the outrageous things my 4 year old has said. Thanks for the laugh.
You crack me up!
Oh this is hilarious!! After nursing four babies, nothing is the way it used to be. LOL
What a great post! I am so glad you were honest with him.
ROFLOL!!!
LOL! Gravity happens!
That is too funny. My 2 year old just looks at them and say "gone, gone" talking about the milk but it applies in so many other ways.
Ae you ever tempted to consider plastic surgery? Gasp! I have a friend who had it done recently and LOVES her new look. Yikes! Certainly made me think. Ha!
