We spent all weekend playing in the fresh 6 inches that was dropped on us.
And then Superbowl Sunday we went farther up our mountain to a friend’s house where they had twice as much snow and a gigantic TV to watch the game.
And if that wasn’t enough excitement, guess what the pastor preached on this week?
NAHUM! (If you don’t know about my unfortunate incident you can read it here.)
I mean, what are the odds?
(Hello? Chuck? Are you out there?)
And I’m not much of a note taker in church but I’m kinda thinking that there’s something in there I’m supposed to get.
Ya think?

Awesome pictures!
I wish we would get a decent snow this year!
We were in LA and I missed our snow- we get basically the same weather as you. I was wishing I knew where you lived last week. We flew to L.A. out of Seattle and had a slight medical emergency on the way down- right near the Tulalip Casino. I remember thinking that I DID know someone in Washington that would be a friendly face if need be- not htat I had any way of getting a hold of you! All is well- I will blog about it tomorrow perhaps- we just arrived home tonight.
Look at those precious little faces!
I am not into a bunch of snow all the time, but occasionally it is TONS of fun.
Beautiful pictures! The first one is gorgeous! It looks like you had a great time. We were disappointed that we didn't get the predicted snowfall Friday. It's been bitter cold, and cold with no snow is no fun! I'm hoping for at least one more big snow before spring comes.
Too funny about Nahum! :)
you are SOOOOOOOOOO funny! there is a verse in nahum that i just love. 1:7, i think.
here in idaho our little bit of snow is turning into slush and yuk. enjoy yours while you can. i don't miss the rain at all!
I haven't gotten any here south of the Sound either, sigh.
We had 3 snow days last week, but no snow, go figure!
I guess God is helping you not to forget that Nahum's got a book too.
wow, great photos! The snow looks like so much fun. We have lots here too, but it has been super cold.
I couldn't tell you anything that Nahum says (aren't I a great minister?), but Nahum was one of my lovely bride's nicknames in college...or maybe I just called her that in my head? So long ago...so very vague now.
Great pix.
Love the snow pictures. I'm glad you're getting your fair share of the snow (and Nahum--ha).
Enjoy the snow while it lasts. :)
LOL. Nahum does seem to be stalking you. Hmm. I wonder what lesson will come out of this. When you figure it out, please share! :)
PS- Cute pictures. Actually, cute kids- nice pictures.
